Contemplative Prayer Groups.   You are invited  to join one of the several Dallas area Centering Prayer Groups.  Most groups meet weekly.  The prayer gatherings are open to all who are striving to embrace a daily practice of Silent Prayer and Lectio Divina using the methodology developed by Fr Thomas Keating and others.  Check out a new Centering Prayer group that meets at Holy Trinity church in Dallas.

Reading List.  I have compiled a list of recommended books which you can find at the Book Page.  I am sure you will discover one or more books that will be useful to you.  Many of the books are authored by Father Keating himself.  Other well known authors, who write on Centering Prayer and spirituality, are represented in the list. Each book title has a short review or summary provided by the book publisher that you may find helpful.

Do you wish to learn about Centering Prayer?

Ask about how to arrange for a speaker to learn about Centering Prayer.  You can arrange for a one hour presentation to introduce Contemplative Prayer and the method of Centering Prayer to your group or organization.  For a more in depth presentation, arrange for a one-day "Introductory Workshop to Centering Prayer".  Custom or special presentations on Contemplative Prayer may also be arranged.
